How to get to El Nido ?

There are basically 3 different ways to reach El Nido depending on your budget and the duration of your stay in Palawan

by direct flight from Manila to El Nido with the private company Island Transvoyager Inc.
by flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa then travelling by road to El Nido
by direct boat from Manila to El Nido

Direct Flight Manila - El Nido

The fastest and most direct way to get to El Nido is from Manila. Island Transvoyager Inc.(ITI) operates daily flights to El Nido using a 19-seater Dornier 228 aircraft. The flight takes a maximum of 90 minutes and lands directly at El Nido Airport. ITI offers 3 flights daily from Manila direct to El Nido and back (morning, midday and afternoon). Manila-El Nido flights can be booked only 5 days before departure, while the return flight can be booked in advance through their GSA at Artcafe, email : This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for reservations. For information, one way fare is PHP 6,750 per person. There is a 10kg weight restriction, incl. hand luggage. ITI is the charter airline of El Nido Resorts and their guests can get advanced reservations confirmed.

South East Asian Airline (SEAIR) also operates flights 2-3 times a week from Manila to El Nido via Busuanga. For updated flight times, online bookings and information call directly SEAIR : +63 (02) 851 56 74 or +63 (02) 749 01 00. Seair will resume direct flights to El Nido on Dec. 9th, 2009.

Upon arrival at El Nido Airport, you will be transferred to the village of El Nido with motorized tricylces. Travelling time from El Nido Airport to El Nido village is around 15 minutes.

Flight/Road : Manila - Puerto Princesa - El Nido

The second way to reach El Nido is to fly first to Puerto Princesa and then to travel by bus from Puerto Princesa to El Nido.

Sweety transport (Mobile/Tel: +63 (0) 91 9716 2210) offer 2 trips a day from El Nido to Puerto Princesa City passing through Taytay and Roxas. The trips generally takes around 8 hours and departures are between 7am and 9pm. The fare is 300 pesos. There is also a corresponding to trips from Puerto Princesa City back to El Nido each day, leaving between 7am and 9am.

Eulen Joy transport (Mobile/Tel: +63 (0) 91 9716 2210) also offer 2 trips a day from El Nido to Puerto Princesa City passing through Taytay and Roxas. The fare is 300 pesos. Similarly they have two corresponding trips from Puerto Princesa City to El Nido. Leaving between 7am and 9am.

If you are not too short on budget, we recommend to rent your own car with Pitstop Bike Adventure (http://www.pitstopbikeadventure.com). By sea : Manila - El Nido

San Nicolas Lines 02-243 2830 Cargo boats every Wednesday and Saturday to El Nido (30 hours). Atienza Shipping Lines 02-243 8845. El Nido - Coron Thursday midnight (is often delayed). The fare is 910 pesos. Book at least 1 day in advance. The booking office is located next to the Petron gas station.
